We had a tremendous final's night with three competitive matches.

In the first semi-final the Taverners pipped Probus by 58 -55. The first round on Sporting Terms saw a maximum score for both teams but the Taverners took a six-point lead in the round on Historic Weights and Measures. Probus won both the picture round and the thirty question Bell and Buzzer round but not by enough to overturn the deficit.

In the second semi-final Keyworth Show won the first two rounds on One Letter Different and Schools. The Rugby Club picked up in the picture round but with the B & B round being equal the final score saw Keyworth Show winning 49-41.

The final was a close affair with the Show leading 51 - 46 before the B & B round. With the best B & B rounds record in the 2023 quiz the Taverners might have been expected to catch up, but the Show held their nerve and won the B & B round 34 - 25 to win overall by 85 - 71.
