Keyworth Parish Council Serving the village of Keyworth

Due to the Covid pandemic the 2020 Quiz was halted after Round 2. After a couple of failed attempts to arrange the remaining matches outdoors on the Rectory Field in the summers of 2020 and 2021 we decided to abandon the remaining fixtures.

In the first match the Guitar Club were outplayed by an in-form Crossdale Drive team. Joel Scott on the Crossdale team gave the audience a huge laugh when answering the question "What was the first name of Private Pike in Dad's Army?" by answering "Don't tell them".

The Keyworth Show could have won against the Baptist Church but gave away their lead by interrupting the bell and buzzer questions twice and getting them wrong.

The Allotments and Turkey Trotters were very closely matched throughout but the Allotments will now go on the face the Baptist Church in the Quarter Final.

The final match saw another close encounter where the new team from the Footpath's Association gave the experienced Methodist team a tight match.

Thanks to the Keyworth Rainbows for providing the refreshments.

The four evenly matched quarter final ties take place on Monday 16th March starting at 7.30pm.
