Building Work - Village Hall/Centenary Lounge

We apologise for any inconvenience to hirers and visitors while the work was underway, but hope everyone will appreciate that the work was essential from a health & safety point of view.

Revised Hire Charges/Conditions of Hire

Revised charges have been fixed for the hire of Council premises (Village Hall, Centenary Lounge, Feignies Room, etc.) with effect from 1st April 2012. In most cases, fees will increase by about 5%, roughly in line with the increase in the retail prices index (RPI) over the past twelve months; the increases are necessary to keep pace with overheads which, in some cases (e.g. electricity bills), have been rising much faster than the rate of inflation.

New conditions of hire have also been approved; click here to see them along with the new scale of charges.
