Keyworth Parish Council Serving the village of Keyworth

Cllr Michael Moncrieff

I recently moved to Keyworth with my wife and our young family having spent a few years away from the midlands. When looking for a place to move to it was clear that Keyworth was exactly where we wanted to be. The community spirit here is fantastic and we are lucky to have such great schools, clubs and facilities right on our doorstep as well as a varied range of well supported shops across the whole village.

I've worked in local government in a range of roles for the past decade (and a bit) and am aware of how important it is that people are aware of what is going on locally. There is so much that can be done to support communities and that local link is crucial. The people of Keyworth are the best people to make decisions about Keyworth.

Given all of that it felt like a natural step to put my name forward to join the parish council when the opportunity became available. Keyworth is a special place because of the people who make it so, and I want to do my part.

I want to do whatever I can to help Keyworth to flourish, so if you have any thoughts or suggestions please do let me know. Having spoken to many of you since moving here it is amazing how much love for Keyworth there is and how many great ideas there are for what more can be done. I want to make those things happen - so do get in touch!

Please email me at CllrMichaelMoncrieff@keyworthparishcouncil.org if there is anything whatsoever that you would like to raise and thanks for your time.
